How do I Connect my iPod / iPhone or Android enabled phone to my Factory Car Stereo?

You'll find a couple of options for playing your smartphone's music through your factory car stereo. iPod® adapters allow you to connect your iPod / iPhone® to a wide variety of factory car stereos. You can also stream music wirelessly from a compatible smartphone such as iPhone , Samsung Galaxy and Windows phones to a car stereo with built-in Bluetooth® capability. iPod / iPhone direct integration devices:


iPod / iPhone vehicle specific car kits - Connect directly to factory stereo through a CD changer or SAT radio port on the back of the factory stereo. Allows for control of device through stereo controls.



Add USB connection- Also connects directly to factory stereo.  Connect USB enabled device to connect and play through factory stereo system.







Android enabled devices:


Direct Connection - Use USB car kit to add direct connection. Also use 3.5 mm aux connection to play most music players.


Stream Wireless through Bluetooth enabled device


  Bluetooth Audio playback allows you to stream the music directly from your phone to the car stereo.    Now you are able to listen to your music from your phone , Pandora , Spotify or Podcasts played from your mobile phone on car stereo.

  Bluetooth wireless audio control (AVRCP) allows you to Pause, Stop, Play, Forward, Backward, Fast Rewind your music playback via car stereo/steering wheel controls.
