Trouble with Channels Jumping Randomly on Ignition Start Up - Sirius / XM Satellite Radio?

SiriusXM radio performed a channel list update recently and while most
of the tuners update normally, some are still hung up on the old
channel lineup. This is causing channels to jump on the vehicle
start up, because this specific channel has been moved by SiriusXM to
another location. The only way to fix this issue is call SiriusXM and
have them deactivate this tuner. After you wait for tuner to
deactivate, which may take anywhere between 2 hours to 2 days. Once you
put your car on and you are not getting any channels other than
promotional channels 1 and 255 - it means tuner is deactivated
completely. At this point of time you need to call SiriusXM back and
have them reactivate the tuner. This will fix the issue with channels
jumping randomly.
